Modern man is really stupid.

I have just submitted three models that I have done all are based in the ancient work in different times. I enjoy these models because I love ancient history. those peoples did a great many things we are unable to duplicate. they were real and much stronger than we are today, in many ways. I have studied many histories of many countries and found all of them fascinating in their own way. these are our roots and where we come from. and give these ancient peoples their due credit.

A model of Salomon's Temple is forth coming as well. it will rise again. the calf is ready for the sacrifice. Baruch Ha'ashem

We are stupid and weak in these modern times.

Not the most well thought out journal I've ever read. Full of complaints and glorifying cultures that are long dead. With as much information we process these days as well as how quickly building and fads quickly become obsolete, is it any wonder we do not spend 40 years building a simple center of worship or tomb? We live too quickly and have the capacity to make building materials quickly made, quickly shipped, quickly fabricated, and quickly destroyed. Yes, it would be wonderful if such structures could once again become the standard of our world, but then again, many ancient civilizations depended heavily on slave labor *cough egypt cough* to build such magnificent structures. Now I'm all for enslaving the weaker nations, but are you?

I do enjoy your models of historical structures as always, but I do not expect to be schooled in the fact that our modern culture is different of that of ancient egypt. I was fully aware, as I'm sure many people are.
